Bull City Open 2021

The first Bull City Open pickleball tournament was held July 30 thru August 1, 2021 at Bethesda Park!

Over 220 people, ranging in age from 19 to 90 years old, played in more than 500 matches over 3 days of spirited competition.

 DAPP donated $11,111 to the Durham Parks Foundation, 

earmarked for the new permanent pickleball facility at Piney Wood Park. 

We received lots of media attention, including pieces on channels 11 and 17, in the Indy Weekly, and on social media.
