Coach Kat Williams

Biography

Coach Kat is a PPR Pro Instructor, an Engage Sponsored player and rep, and runs clinics and lessons at Bethesda including regular pop-in clinics, mini sessions, and private, semi-private, and group lessons for beginners to advanced level players. 

Her background includes being a certified Physical Education teacher and coaching many sports for over a decade now, including boys baseball, girls softball, tennis, basketball, and now her favorite, pickleball.  She has been trained to use a biomechanical analysis to optimize performance and decrease the likelihood of injury with the use of your whole body. 

She now plays at the 5.0 level and has medaled in APP Tour tournaments and has qualified for Nationals in Women's and Mixed Doubles in 4.5 in the past two years. She is also the Director of Junior Development in the Triangle under the Atlantic Coast Pickleball Coalition and offers junior clinics and lessons.
